Competition overview
A startup and entrepreneurship pitching session where teams presented product concepts. Our team developed LÉOR for RSU/IRS 151 and took 1st place.
The challenge
Present a startup concept convincingly in a short live pitch: the problem, the product and why it would work.
Approach
LÉOR is a wearable personal-safety concept — a smart wristband with a companion app. I worked on the product narrative, built the Figma app prototype and delivered the live pitch.
Research and analysis
Demo text — Owner to describe the research behind the concept
Who the wristband is for, which situations it covers and how existing personal-safety products compare.
Results
1st Place at the RIC Startup & Entrepreneurship Pitching Sessions.
Lessons learned
Demo text — Owner to write the lessons learned
A clickable prototype answered questions faster than slides did.
What I would improve
Demo text — Owner to write what they would change
Bring early user feedback on the wristband concept into the pitch.
